Theory of music

It is important not just to play MUSIC but also to understand and speak the language of MUSIC. Learning THEORY OF MUSIC is a simple way to explain the MUSIC. PMA teaches the academic study and analysis of fundamental elements of music such as pitch, rhythm, harmony, and form, and refers to descriptions, concepts, or beliefs related to music. We offer certifications from Trinity College London and ABRSM for THEORY OF MUSIC. The Aims and objectives of Grade exams in THEORY as quoted by Trinity: "Grade exams in Theory of Music aim to provide a solid foundation in music literacy: the conventions of Western music notation, melody, rhythm and harmony. At the higher levels, these qualifications also assess basic knowledge of musical history, form and instrumental capabilities (e.g. range)" We offer certifications from Trinity College London and ABRSM for grades 1-8.
